QPR new boy Loic Remy admits he would love to emulate his hero Thierry Henry

Loic Remy: Hoping to emulate the success of his hero Thierry Henry

Remy, who joined QPR from Marseille during this month's transfer window, has been likened to Henry in his style of play.

The 26-year-old admits he is a long way away from matching the achievements of Henry, but says it would be a dream to as successful as the New York Red Bulls ace.

"My family are from Martinique, he's half (Martinique), that's where it must come from," Remy told The Sun.

"The biggest compliment in 10 years would be: 'Remy had a career like Titi Henry.'

"He's played more than 50 matches flat out every season for 15 years, scored 51 goals for France, has an incredible record of trophies.

"For the time being I'm very far away. But you can always dream of being a big name in French football."
