Salomon Kalou is not looking for a way out of Lille, says his representative

Salomon Kalou: Has struggled to produce his best since moving to France

The Ivory Coast international has struggled to settle in France since linking up with Lille as a free agent over the summer and has been linked with a return to England, with QPR, Everton and West Ham all reportedly interested.

The former Chelsea forward has netted just three times in 18 appearances this season and reports have suggested that he has been made available for transfer ahead of the January transfer window.

Lille are said to be willing to cash in on Kalou as they attempt to get their finances in order and improve performances on the field.

Kalou is, however, keen to honour the contract he signed on his arrival, with his agent attempting to play down reports that the 27-year-old could soon be on his way back to the Premier League.

"We are calm," said Kalou's brother Bonnaventure, who also acts as his representative.

"Salomon knows he has to work hard to reach his true level and show what he is capable of doing when he is in the best shape mentally."
